Who This Course Is For
This course is for food service managers, supervisors, shift leaders, and owners who need a Food Manager Certification to meet local or state requirements.
What You’ll Learn (Plain-Language Summary)
You’ll learn how to run a safer operation and prevent foodborne illness by controlling the things that cause most violations and outbreaks—like unsafe temperatures, poor handwashing, cross-contamination, and improper cleaning and sanitizing. You’ll also cover manager-level responsibilities, including policies for employee illness and responding to food safety issues.
In-Person Proctoring: How the Exam Works
With in-person proctoring, a Plenum/Delta representative will schedule a visit on site to administer the certification exam.
In-Person proctoring is a good fit if you:
Have more than one person onsite to test
Need a controlled environment to ensure this gets done or completed
Have employees who lack computer skills or technical understanding
